Marc Archer is an accomplished songwriter and composer, who possesses an extensive portfolio of high-quality songs, musicals, and instrumentals. He is actively presenting his work to fellow recording artists, as well as to film and TV production companies for potential use in their productions.

Marc is a highly versatile professional musician with a wide-ranging creative style that spans writing numerous commercial genres from radio-friendly ballads and anthems to roots reggae, saxophone songs, world music, and more contemporary styles like deep and tropical house and lofi.
All this music is available with Marc Archer’s consent to be recorded and sung and played by fellow artists.
He has composed original songs for proposed musicals, such as Paulo Coehlo’s The Alchemist, David Beckham - The Theatre Of Dreams, and The Devils Horn - click on my channel for the showreel for this project.
Marc has recently worked as a top line songwriter guideline vocalist and saxophonist with the roots reggae duo, Babba Maas.
Currently, Marc is writing House tracks under the name Maestro Sax and working with Maison Sax with singer Kieta B and tropical house with Binkies with singer Sophie W.
He is also working on lofi music with Mr White, as well as collaborating with the artist Whilst.
In addition to being a top level saxophonist, he has created and published a unique teaching approach through his Blowout Sax School for aspiring saxophonists.
He has also composed numerous instrumentals, which are full of soul, tone, and melody, making them ideal soundtracks for a variety of contexts such as films, tv shows, documentaries and adverts.
Marc's vast knowledge of music is further reflected in his World Music projects.
The songs that Marc has composed with Phil Dawson for Khaled Hosseini’s The Sea Prayer project were praised for their ‘compositions’ by Peter Gabriel.
Marc and Phil have also specially crafted songs for Ele Fountain’s ‘Boy 87’ story which is now with a major film company awaiting production.
Somewhere between Marc Archer, the classic songwriter, and the world-class saxophonist, lies his extroverted Arch’rageous character. This is Marc's music-writing alter ego, the madcap genius who creates football anthems and Christmas hits.
Marc's prolific output over the past 30 years reflects his deep love and obsession for the art of songwriting and composing. Throughout his career, he has worked with high-calibre collaborators, including the great Gypie Mayo, as well as on many solo projects.
